ABOUT US
The Fashion Show is an annual event, in which Indiana State students come together as a team to create one of the most exciting events of the year for the Textiles, Apparel, and Merchandising program (TAM). They have been enrolled in an event planning course all semester, designing and coordinating the fashion show.
The Fashion Show is a collaborative affair that incorporates two basic elements:
-
a competition that offers the students in our Textiles, Apparel, and Merchandising program (TAM) an opportunity to display their work
-
a short show of Spring designs from the leading fashion designers outside the Wabash Valley.
This year's Student Competition includes seven categories:
-
Chic in the city
-
Red Carpet
-
Avant Garde
-
Tiny Trend Setters
-
Street Style
-
Upcycle
-
The Collection
Prior to the show on Friday, a panel of judges will judge the student collections on their construction, cohesiveness, creativity, and marketability. During the grand finale on Friday evening, the winners will be announced.
The show will be held at the University Hall on Friday, December 4th . A Reception will be at 6pm with the Fashion Show starting at 7:00pm. All proceeds from the Fashion Show go into a scholarship fund for future students.
